The University of California is the premier public university system in the world, and a leader in both graduate education and research. The University offers graduate academic degree programs at nine campuses, with a tenth campus anticipating providing graduate programs in 2004. Individuals interested in apply for graduate programs at UC should contact the graduate division of the campus offering the degree program of choice. The Office of the President supports several initiatives designed to improve the quality and diversity of its graduate student population. These include fellowship programs, and the coordination of the National Science Foundation funded Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP). |
