PROJECT

Improving Urban Agriculture

DESCRIPTION

Improving urban agriculture is a concrete way in which local communities can get better access to nutritional foods and also make current methods more productive and sustainable. For Yingqi, the interest and focus of this project is in coming up with strategies based on ecological and community research in low-income and underserved neighborhoods to increase food security and food justice. The goal is to make local food production more efficient to help address the food disparities that exist.
