California Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education Participant Profile

The most recent Southern California Forum held on April 14, 2012, at the San Diego State University (SDSU) campus. 1,163 students were in attendance from the California State University, the University of California, and private and independent colleges and universities throughout Northern California.

At the San Diego State University Forum, 82% of the student attendees had a GPA of 3.0 or better (with 39% above 3.5), while over 62% of the attendees indicated they were from the first generation in their families to attend college.
