The general University Seismic Safety Policy is set forth in the University
of California Facilities Manual, Volume 1,
Chapter 5, Seismic Safety Policy and Independent
Seismic Review of Structures Policy (to be updated).
The Real Estate Services Group (RESG) developed
the University of California Seismic Safety
Policy for Leased and Purchased
Buildings to apply the general policy to
purchases and leases of off-campus facilities.
The most recent update to the UC Seismic
Safety Policy for Leased and Purchased Buildings
was sent to the Chancellors and Director
- LBNL on 6/29/2007. The
