The University of California is seeking Facilities Cost Benchmarking services to develop facilities benchmarks within the University in order to monitor the effectiveness and anticipate future Operation of Maintenance of Plant requirements. The study area of the project is phased, with a pilot phase covering approximately 400,000 square feet and following phases covering an additional 2.5 million square feet. The extent of benchmarking services required is not set. Each assignment will be requested and authorized separately under a professional services agreement (PSA) negotiated with the university, eventual cost for the project could be as much as $500,000.
