Assistant Vice Provost and Executive Director
Yvette Gullatt is responsible for the University’s portfolio of college access and teacher education programs, services and initiatives. Her work focuses on ensuring that the University’s efforts represent the highest standards for quality and accountability in support of the University’s teaching, research and public service mission.
Gullatt has worked for nearly two decades on policy, strategic partnerships, and program design and delivery that improve student learning and achievement. She has held positions at both the UC Office of the President and the UC Berkeley campus. She also consults with organizations in California and throughout the nation on pre-college preparation issues and strategies and represents the University on a number of state and national boards and committees. Gullatt holds B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in English from UC Berkeley.
