John Plotts
Assistant Vice President
John Plotts is Assistant Vice President, Financial Management for the University of California at the Office of the President. In this capacity, John interacts with campuses and medical centers involving financial and administrative issues that have a systemwide perspective and oversees the financial management and external reporting for the University system. Prior to joining the University in 1996, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and held progressively responsible positions in various financial and administrative capacities in private industry, including Senior Vice President of Administration for a large food retailer. He has a B.S. degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
