      Jennifer Damico

Junior Delegate, UC Office of the President (UCOP)

Jennifer is the Manager of Special Projects and Audit for UC Office of the President Human Resources and Benefits. She joined Human Resources and Benefits in 2003 as a Supervising Accountant and shortly there after served as Supervisor of the Research Unit. In her role as Manager of Special Projects and Audit, Jennifer collaborates with University colleagues, Systemwide, on the development of leadership conferences. She also works closely with campus Benefit Managers to ensure that employees are receiving the appropriate levels of benefits. This will be Jennifer's third year as a member of the UC Office of the President Staff Assembly.

Jennifer is a strong believer in the mission of public higher education and is passionate about her contributions to the success of University staff, faculty and students. Prior to joining the team at UC Office of the president, Jennifer served in administrative roles in higher education beginning in 1993 when she joined the staff ranks at San Francisco State University . Her tenure at SFSU included time as the Office Manager of the Mathematics Department – advising students and supporting faculty in their teaching and research endeavors – as well as roles in the Bursar's Office and Campus Housing and Residential Services. She is also proud of her contributions as a member of SFSU's Committee on University Strategic Planning and as the Administrative Coordinator of the pre-construction design of their newest student residence community and student services building.

Jennifer has her B.A. in Economics and plans to pursue graduate school in the next few years focusing on forecasting and planning in higher education. She is a lifetime veteran of community theater and director of an all women folk singing group.
