Robert Buel

Senior Delegate, UC Merced

Robert Buel is the Junior Delegate to CUCSA from UC Merced. He has worked for the University of California since 2001. He started his career at UC Davis but took the challenge of working at the new UC Merced in 2005. Robert is currently the Contract & Grants Analyst for the Academic Resource Center.

Robert participated in the creation of the UC Merced Staff Assembly in 2006. He participated in the bylaws committee and was elected the first ever Vice President of UC Merced Staff Assembly. Roberts currently serves as the Scholarship Committee Chair, Budget Committee member, UCM Childcare committee member, and on the CUCSA Workforce Evolution Committee. Robert continues to volunteer on numerous committees and will continue to do so as more are created. Robert strives to get more staff involved with the campus and looks forward to creating a strong Staff Assembly presence at UC Merced.
