Biography

Elizabeth Bautista

Elizabeth Bautista is a High Performance Systems Analyst at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab with NERSC, a scientific facility for DOE's Office of Science. She is part of the team that manages a distributed cluster used to meet the detector simulation and data analysis requirements of large-scale Physics, Astrophysics and Nuclear Science applications. She has been with the University of California for twelve years.

She is interested in serving on CUCSA to acquire firsthand knowledge and understanding of UC policies and procedures and how they affect the staff. As a delegate, she hopes to provide a voice from the Laboratory perspective as well as to provide a means of two-way communication between the staff and the Regents. Her goal is to continue to be involved in the information flow from the Regents to the staff whether it is encouraging staff to attend brown bag sessions, organizing workshops and coordinating outreach and diversity programs.
