Biography
I joined UCI in 1994 through Temporary Services and was assigned to Social Sciences. Shortly after, I received a full-time offer in Neonatology at UCIMC where I worked for a year. An opening back in Social Sciences in the Dean's office brought me back to the main campus. I spent eight years in the Dean's Office in Social Sciences where I wore various accounting hats. I took the job as Department Manager of Sociology in Social Sciences in 2003, and moved to Developmental and Cell Biology in 2007, as MSO. My management positions got me involved with the Academic Business Officers Group (ABOG). I served on the ABOG Board from 2003-2005, and as Chair for one of those years. I have served on the UCI Staff Assembly Council for two years as Finance Chair, and the past two as CUCSA Delegate. I so enjoy the networking and learning experiences our on campus groups provide and look forward to remainder of my CUCSA experience.
