Vulnerable Children & Healthcare Access
by Gregory D. Stevens, Ph.D., MHS
Assistant Professor of Research, Division of Community Health
USC Keck School of Medicine
CPAC is currently funding a study to assess whether or not low-income children's healthcare status and primary care experience has varied in response to changing levels of vulnerability between 2001 and 2005. The study also examines whether specific programs help reduce the negative impacts of healthcare vulnerability. This study will provide important assistance to policy makers and will contribute to the on-going public dialogue about expanding healthcare coverage for children.
