Participated in Cluster on Chemistry and Mathematics: From Life to Thought

I just finished the first quarter of my senior year, and my last year playing volleyball for my high school ended; we were just named the Nevada 1A volleyball academic state champions. Basketball and winter cheerleading practice just started. Thanksgiving weekend I went to San Francisco to go to a Notre Dame vs. Stanford football game (Let's go Irish!) and to visit some of my friends I met at COSMOS! I applied to Cornell University, University of Notre Dame, and the University of San Diego; just waiting to see what happens with those schools in the spring.

COSMOS was definitely a great experience. I met so many awesome people that I still keep in touch with. The program exposes you to classes and activities you never would be privileged to until college. I've been to a lot of other pre-college programs and by far I had the most fun at COSMOS; over the last few summers, I have also been to other campuses, received credits, and taken different courses, but COSMOS was the intellectual top. It placed me in a lab setting of the field I want to pursue.
