Student Life Retreat
Every two years the Vice Chancellors for Student Affairs sponsor a UC systemwide conference on Student Life issues. The Vice Chancellors and approximately 100 student affairs professionals from across the UC system attend. The Assistant Vice Chancellors/Deans of Students are the primary planners of the retreat. Past themes have included:
- Free Speech hosted by UC Berkeley (2003)
- The Millennial Generation hosted by UC Irvine (2005)
- Student Mental Health and Wellness hosted by UC San Diego (2007)
