UC Students Association
The UC Students Association is a coalition representing the student population of the University of California. It is comprised of representatives from the undergraduate, graduate and professional student bodies of the 10 campuses who are chosen by the participating student governments. Representatives serve on various committees both internal and external to UCSA. The UCSA acts as the collective voice to the UC Regents, the Legislature, the office of the Governor, and the Office of the President. Each year, the UCSA takes up an action agenda for the year and advocates for those items. Previous items have included UC diversity, UC employee collective bargaining and affordability.
Campus Life often helps facilitate functions between the UCSA and UCOP, including preparing meetings with the President and arranging travel.
