Nomination applications are invited through May 4, 2007 for an election to be conducted May 29 to June 22, 2007 to select two employees who are not members of the Academic Senate to the University of California Retirement System (UCRS) Advisory Board.

Only eligible active members of the University of California  Retirement Plan (UCRP) who are not members of the Academic Senate will be qualified as candidates.

The UCRS Advisory Board develops ideas or new approaches to the provisions of UCRS benefits and communicates them to the President of the University. The UCRS Advisory Board discusses concerns relating to all members, participants and their beneficiaries.

A special At Your Service election website is now available.

Both the nomination and voting processes will be conducted online at this site. The site currently focuses on the nomination application period and contains all downloadable nomination materials, as well as prospective candidate information and instructions.  Nomination materials are also available at local Benefits offices.

In mid-May, a list of qualified candidates and their statements will be posted at the website. Online voting will be conducted May 29 to June 22, 2007 on At Your Service Online, which will be accessible via the election website. Only eligible active UCRP members who are not members of the Academic Senate will be qualified to vote in the election.

Final election results will be posted at the website shortly after the voting period.
