[December 21, 2007] Health Net All new and continuing members of Health Net are scheduled to receive new ID cards for coverage effective 1/1/08. Due to a University processing delay, there will be a delay in all Health Net members receiving their new I.D. cards. Based on the information we have today, we expect members to begin receiving their I.D. card(s) during the first week of January 2008. For all members except those in the Health Net Medicare COB plan, the same card will be used for medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy services. Medicare COB members will receive one ID card for medical and one for pharmacy (Part D). Members will have access to Health Net benefits and services effective January 1, 2008, even if they have not received their card. Based on the information we have today, starting January 1, 2008, Health Net members can print a temporary I.D. card from the Health Net website. Once a Health Net member has registered online, they can print a temporary I.D. card(s) from the member home page under "Get Things Done" and "Print a Temporary I.D. Card." As of January 2, employees and retirees can call the dedicated Health Net UC customer service line at 1-800-539-4072 for assistance with eligibility information. Additionally, on January 2, Health Net contracted providers and pharmacies can contact Health Net directly to verify eligibility either by phone or through the Health Net Provider Web Portal. Employees or their providers should call Health Net to verify eligibility. Blue Cross All Core Medical Plan members, as well as new members, are scheduled to receive new ID cards for coverage effective 1/1/08. The Blue Cross ID cards were released on 12/14/07 and should be received by 1/1/08. CIGNA All members are scheduled to receive ID cards for new coverage effective 1/1/08. CIGNA began to produce and mail ID cards on 12/19/07 with a target completion date of 12/21/07. All cards should be received by members by 1/1/08. Kaiser Only new Kaiser plan members are scheduled to receive ID cards for new coverage effective 1/1/08. Additionally, during the fourth week in January, all Kaiser (non-Medicare) members will receive a separate paper brochure and wallet card for use in accessing behavioral health services through United Behavioral Health (UBH). In the meantime, Kaiser members can access UBH providers by calling UBH for referral. WHA All new and continuing members are scheduled to receive ID cards for coverage effective 1/1/08.
