If you return to UC employment, your eligibility to re-enroll in benefits plans depends on the position into which you are rehired. If your new position makes you eligible for benefits, enrollment options vary with the particular plan and the length of time you have been separated from UC. In addition, you may be eligible for reinstatement of other benefits, such as sick leave, depending on the length of your separation from employment status. Contact your Benefits Office within 31 days of your rehire date for information.
