President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

The University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (PPFP) has made substantial contributions to faculty diversity across all fields at UC since its inception in 1984. New Ph.D. recipients from around the country apply for the opportunity to conduct their research as fellows on one of the UC campuses.

Sheila O'Rourke, PPFP Director, is awarded the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education's (NADOHE), 2012 Individual Leadership Award.

The award acknowledges Sheila O'Rourke’s leadership role as director of the nationally recognized President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program; her advocacy of diversity in higher education; and for being a national leader in promoting faculty equity and diversity.
