Thresholds for Approval of Academic Salaries

Effective October 1, 2003

 

 

Faculty salaries, which involve a new appointment or a merit increase, that exceed the following levels require Presidential approval.

 

Regular – Academic Year Ladder Ranks Scale                                              $168,000

 

Regular – Fiscal Year Ladder Ranks Scale                                                     $194,900

 

Academic-Year Business/Management and Engineering Ladder Ranks Scale   $185,300

 

Fiscal-Year Business/Management and Engineering Ladder Ranks Scale         $213,500

 

Law School Scale                                                                                           $226,500

 

For non-faculty academic salaries, which involve a new appointment or a merit increase, the threshold is $168,000.
