Attention Dissertation-Year Fellows and Mentors!

The University of California Office of the President (UCOP) is pleased to announce this year's annual Fall Meeting will be held on September 28, 2007. This meeting provides fellows and mentors an opportunity to meet one another, to discuss issues and experiences important to their academic careers, and to interact with faculty members from other campuses in similar fields of study.

The day will begin with coffee at 9:00 a.m. and end with a reception, hosted by Provost Hume. During the day faculty mentors will be leading break-out sessions and discussion groups on such topics as CV preparation, job searches, publishing, grant writing, and tips for tenure.  Air travel from the southern campuses at the 14-day advance fare is available.
