Law

UC Law School Academic Preparation Programs
These programs, including the UC Davis King Hall Outreach Program and the UCLA Law Fellows Outreach Program are designed to encourage and prepare high-potential undergraduate and graduate students for careers in law, increase the diversity of law school applicants with highly competitive academic credentials, and demystify the law school experience.

Medicine

Medical School Academic Preparation Programs
Postbaccalaureate programs may be found at UC Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco Medical Schools. These programs aim to increase the number of physicians who are likely to practice in underserved areas of California, and to increase the number of culturally competent and capable physicians practicing medicine in California. Students focus on science curriculum; receive admissions application and interview assistance, regular advising and mentoring sessions; and engage in intensive MCAT preparation.

Program in Medical Education for the Latino Community (PRIME-LC)
Based at UC Irvine, the program combines medical-school training focused on Latino health issues with post-graduate work in environmental health, science and policy. PRIME-LC graduates will earn both a medical degree from UCI's College of Medicine and a master's degree that emphasizes Latino health care disparities, public health or health care policy.
